Open applications towards a rank, 'Network Admin'

Network admins will be handled as an entirely different concept and independent to the current ranking system in the future. Right now execs have op in the hubs and can sanction individuals appropriately.

I absolutely object to this. ¨Senior Admins that have applied for it" - so what you want is another rank in the hierarchy beyond Senior. The point of senior is that itś the final in the chain, and while that concept has devolved over the years, we don't need more ranks.

@Ashaz#14796 There is a difference between moderating a forum and administrating a whole other server.

Is there an issue with rulebreaking going on in the hub with no executives on to deal with it? If so, is there a significant problem with opping all seniors (or some of the more active ones) in the hub in the interim until a new system is created in the future? That way no new rank needs to be made above senior.

Surely, even a simple command from the discord bot would be sufficient.

Following that logic, we can use tf!serverban to prevent users from talking in the #server-chat chanel. But obviously we aren't all discord mods. But, in reality, as i've seen from the original suggestion, the solution would either be:

• Add an anti-chat spamming feature
• Allow admins to mute players from the hub, even if it's a discord bot command or something.

I don't feel like a network admin is necessary. It seems easier to make a way for normal admins to punish in the hub.

I believe once we have integrated NetworkManager into TotalFreedomMod, we can start working on the permissions.
