we're versions behind again? vouch
-
FS-106 has been issued to update Core Protect to the 19.4 release.
-
@redeastwood#13291 CoreProtect 19.5 is already out.
-
i honestly don’t think this is gonna help anything but i vouch
-
@redeastwood#13291 bruh, ok, i understand the need to manage what is being done but can't you guys just drag a file into the dev server, see if it works, then just slap it onto the main server, i feel like the whole issues thing is just slowing down the process for vital updates
-
@DragonSlayer2189#13308 Newer updates of plugins have to be tested with the newer versions of TFM, you can't just slap it into the main server after testing it on the dev server as they both run different versions of plugins, not exclusive to/but including TFM.
-
@videogamesm12#13293 Apologies, I am only limited to the issues raised. I have edited the issue to include updating to 19.5. The task is currently on unassigned, however I suspect this may change shortly.
-
@DragonSlayer2189#13308 I agree, however this really isn’t in my control. I see no reason as to why CoreProtect can’t be updated right now, but that’s how Ryan has set things up.

Vouch
why are we even 2 versions behind in the first place lmao -
@fleshly#13314 dev team tends to be slow on here for everything lmao
-
@UnderTails#13315 Please don't accuse us of being slow, we can't update anything on the server (we only have access to the dev server).
We also have other stuff happening, we are not being paid to develop for the server.
-
I have updated FS-106 to update CoreProtect to 19.5. However, none of us can assign it to us (apart from Ryan) as we cannot update the plugin on the server; the ticket is also in backlog, not selected for development so it won't be updated anytime soon - let's hope this thread will change it as the new version have a lot of performance improvements.
-
Just fwiw the new plug-ins and plug-ins updates have been on my radar. I had started working through the various plug-ins to get them up to date and this is obviously one of the ones we had identified.
-
@videogamesm12#13293 So fast, So efficient.
-
vouch since newer = better
-
19.5's API is backwards compatible with 19.4 and 19.3
-
@Telesphoreo#13534 Good. That should mean we won't run into issues updating then.
