Public places have toilets too. Like your nearby gas station or your local restaurant, regardless, toilets don't exist exclusively in your house. Like you can compare the "Spam and Drama" board with the public bathroom.

tl;dr you can't force people to produce gold all the time. The solution to this is just to ignore these posts, most of the posts in Spam and Drama are attention grabs and if you don't reply then people are less likely to produce this stuff in the future.

↩  characterslimits The solution isn't simply just to ignore the posts. This spam & drama issue is relatively new because we had falling threads on Proboards. Many REAL solutions that do not involve just ignoring the posts have been presented but never implemented. That is partly due to this shitty forum software. Most of the shitposting that is done in S&D can be taken elsewhere. A joke here and there is fine, but not when all of the important threads are being pushed down because there are too many S&D threads.

↩  characterslimits That is one of the solutions that was was suggested but not implemented. I am aware of the things that we COULD do, but simply ignoring the posts is not a very good option. There are too many being posted every day for them to be ignored. It is an issue that needs to be addressed not ignored.

Navigate to a tag you don't want to see discussions for anymore, set it to "Hiding" and it will vanish like magic.

Would just like to highlight that a lot of the recent threads people are having an issue with aren't put in spam and drama intentionally to try and "add" to the shitpost or low effort joke.

Doesn't mean you have to constantly create more trash to throw into the bin... its getting pretty absurd with how many unfunny posts people make for god knows what reasons
